Expectations

Before you begin any of our online sessions speak with Pastor Mews or Pastor Zach. We will discuss our expectations of your involvement in weekday school. You will also be given information regarding fees, class schedule, the Weekday School Handbook, projects, service hours, and worship/ Sunday school attendance. All of this information is necessary for you to complete St. Peter's confirmation requirements.

This blog is only meant for those who are in grades 6-8 who have a conflict that forces them to miss Wednesday night classes AND for those who are in High School who have not yet completed confirmation. If you are able to attend Weekday School this online curriculum is not for you.

If you are using this blog you must meet with Pastor Mews or Pastor Zach on a regular basis. This will be your chance to ask any questions, and to demonstrate that you are learning the material. This is also a chance for Pastor Mews and Pastor Zach to help you in your journey to be confirmed and, more importantly, to grow closer to your Savior Jesus Christ. If you do not understand the material, or if you are not completing the work properly we will ask you to repeat a session.

You are responsible for completing all projects, service hours, worship/ Sunday school attendance requirements, scheduling times with to meet with a pastor, and attending Wednesday night classes whenever you can make it. This is not an easier path than Weekday school on Wednesday nights. However, Pastor Mews or Pastor Zach will help you in any way we can. If you are able to attend weekday school at any point throughout the year you are expected to do so.

Feel free to comment on this blog, email (zach@stpeters-epil.com), or call (309-699-5411). Our goal is to confirm as many as possible; however, it is more important that the basics of the Christian faith are learned by all. If you meet the above requirements we welcome you to start with the first lesson on the 10 Commandments.

God's Blessings!

Pastor Zach
